Museum storage receives grant for new shelves

The Clausen Museum received a, In Aid grant from the Alaska State Museum for $4,895 for new new shelving for the museum storage unit.

The 28 new shelves will house part of the museum archive collection that includes 5,000 artifacts, 70,000 photographs and negatives. 

Over the next few months museum volunteers will be organizing and cataloging the items for storage.
